About the Del Mar Music Library
The original Del Mar Music Library was founded by the conductor Norman Del Mar and his brother Ronald. The DMML was re-formed in 2010, and is managed by the cellist Morwenna Del Mar (granddaughter of Ronald), and conductor Ben Palmer, Founder and Artistic Director of Covent Garden Sinfonia, and Chief Conductor of the Deutsche Philharmonie Merck and Babylon Orchester Berlin. The current library brings together orchestral sets from the original DMML, with music from the collections of Jonathan Del Mar, Roy Budden and others, and Ben Palmer's own extensive library.
Designed for Norman and Ronald, the Del Mar Music Library logo was inspired by their own instruments, the horn and clarinet respectively.
